Massachusetts

I have not been following the election too closely but I have been following it close enough. This is obviously a important election for health care, democrats and republicans. The seat is a symbol for the democrats having been filled by Teddy Kennedy; who often acted as a cornerstone for the party. To lose this seat will be to lose a democratic symbol. The proposed healthcare bill can be blocked if the republican Scott Brown wins. However recent news stories have described a vote count that could last ten weeks, obviously a strategy too postpone Brown if elected and limit his impact on the health bill. This is not the only democratic strategy being used. President Obama has just visited and spoke at a rally, I feel this is highly inappropriate for a President. Who do you think was paying for his trip? Is it not coming out of the tax payers pocket? And let's talk about the time frame. Haiti has just suffered a massive earthquake (this is prime time for America to show its good will and. Global power), the United States are still in a war, the economy is still falling and the unemployment is still rising. These subjects are for a President campaigning is not for an active President it is for an ex-president.
